Debido a su inmenso tama\u00f1o de 195 pies de largo por 45 pies de altura, \u00e9l no pudo ponerla en exhibici\u00f3n, y se vio forzado de regresar a Polonia sin ella, porque no pudo pagar los impuestos para llevarla de regreso a casa. Styka, cuya fotograf\u00eda se ve en la pintura cono la figura de Saulo (Pablo), falleci\u00f3 en 1925 sin haber visto su pintura de nuevo. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>La pintura fue guardada en varias bodegas a trav\u00e9s de los a\u00f1os, hasta que el fundador de Forest Lawn, el Dr. Hubert Eaton y sus colegas la encontraron en el Chicago Civic Opera Company en 1943. Forest Lawn la compr\u00f3 despu\u00e9s de la segunda guerra mundial y construy\u00f3 el Sal\u00f3n de la Crucifixi\u00f3n con el prop\u00f3sito espec\u00edfico de exhibir la pintura. Fue inaugurado el Viernes Santo de 1951.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>La Pintura de la Resurrecci\u00f3n <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>La Pintura fue encargada despu\u00e9s de una larga e in\u00fatil b\u00fasqueda de 25 a\u00f1os de una pintura \u00e9pica para completar la Trilog\u00eda. Un concurso se llev\u00f3 a cabo y el Artista Americano Robert Clark fue elegido para crear la pieza.
