Join Forest Lawn Museum for a discussion on aerial photography, presented in conjunction with the current exhibition The Elevated Eye: Aerial Photography Past and Present. <\/em>During the 30-minute lectures, photographer David Maisel, a 2018 Guggenheim Fellow in the Creative Arts whose work is featured in the exhibition, will discuss aerial photography and destruction of the environment, and Dr. Laura Danly, Curator of Griffith Observatory, will share the ultimate aerial view\u00a0\u2014 from orbit\u00a0\u2014 of several worlds in our solar system,\u00a0including Earth.<\/p>\n

A Q&A with James Fishburne, PhD, Director of Forest Lawn Museum and curator of The Elevated Eye<\/em> will follow.<\/p>\n

Refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the event.<\/p>\n
