Forest Lawn’s annual celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will take place on Sunday, January 1, 2010, at Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills. This year’s program will be highlighted by a stirring musical tribute by the Southeast Symphony Orchestra, accompanied by a choir of more than 60 voices; and photographic tribute to the fallen civil rights leader. Returning as the program’s emcee will be Chris Schauble, award-winning co-anchor of the highly rated KNBC 4 morning news program, "Today in L.A.” Actor, director, and educator William Allen Young will deliver the program’s keynote address.
