*10% discount on cemetery property and funeral services available to veterans, active military, active and retired law enforcement and firefighters and/or their spouses. Law enforcement and firefighters are defined as police officers, sheriffs/sheriff deputies, state troopers, federal law enforcement officers and firefighters (paid or volunteer). Discount applies only to the space or funeral plan for the use of the veterans, active military, active and retired law enforcement and firefighters and/or their spouses. In the case of companion spaces or niches, the 10% discount applies only to the first companion space or first niche. Distinguished Memorials and Terminally Ill (TI) insurance or annuity policies qualify. Endowment Care Fund fees are not discounted. Property prices include the Endowment Care of 15%. The veterans, active military, active and retired law enforcement and firefighters and/or their spouses need to be named on the property deed that will be restricted with regard to future transfer. For the funeral policies, the veterans, active military, active and retired law enforcement and firefighters and/or their spouses need to be the insured. For veterans and active military: Form DD-214, military ID or professional ID is required. For active and retired law enforcement and firefighters, verifiable proof is required: unexpired employee ID card/badge, retired ID card/badge, certificate/acknowledgement of retirement. If spouse does not purchase property or insurance at the same time as the veteran, active military, active and retired law enforcement and firefighters upon their passing, the spouse has one year from the date of death to purchase property or insurance from a planning advisor to qualify for the discount.
