Forest Lawn’s original location has been a Southern California landmark since 1906. It has a world-renowned art museum, extraordinary statuary, and the Hall of the Crucifixion-Resurrection which is home to two of the largest religious paintings in the Western hemisphere.
Our three on-site churches—Little Church of the Flowers, Church of the Recessional, and The Wee Kirk o’ the Heather—have not only hosted funerals but have been known as preferred venues for life’s important chapters, such as weddings and baptisms. Jane Wyman and Ronald Reagan famously got married at The Wee Kirk o’ the Heather.
